I wish I could celebrate Father’s Day like the rest, but it hurts ‘cause my 17-year-old son, who lives in Chicago with his 54-year-old mother, wants nothing to do with me.
But what I’d take now, in lieu of being a dad, is to become a husband again. Perhaps God might let me handle that, I sure hope and pray so.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dad here on this board!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandpas, uncles, stepdads, and godfathers here on BMEWS!!!!
Father’s Day. Big deal!! Books you won’t read, clothes you won’t wear, crappy meal, crappy ties and caps.
Sigh!!
Time for another Stoli and tonic.
Macker-
If you don’t mind me asking, could his mother have something to do with it? Because frankly, I think it’s odd that a young man (he’s nearly a legal adult for heaven’s sake) would want nothing to do with his old man.
Sorry if I asked too personal a question.
