tighten belts at home …. cut some benefits …. then give billions away to foreign govts.

 

1. Unbelieveable.

   While I am as big a supporter of space exploration as anyone, this is one time when I agree with the nay-sayers. It’s just about as wrong for Nigeria to have a space program given to them as it would be for them to form their own from internal funding.

   The country has no infrastructure, no education system, no effective medical network, no reliable running water. Paved roads would be a nice start. Peace would also be a nice start; political violence is rampant there.

   Whoever the tinpot dictator in charge this month is, fine, pamper him with a couple bottle rockets so he sells his oil to you cheap. Let the macaca believe whatever he wants. But don’t drop half a billion that you don’t have on this nonsense: Nigeria will sell the oil either way.
