  1. No, I’ve never seen the redhead before either.

But it’s a funny thing: she’s the picture for a Daily Mail article on how insurance rates are rising for young female drivers. In the UK. And she’s the picture for the St. George car loan financing company in Australia. Both nations where people drive on the left with the steering wheel on the right. And here she is, behind the wheel of a car that has the wheel on the left. Huh. So she’s probably American or German. She is a cute one, I’ll give you that.

Here she is again, at the wheel. Wheel on the left, picture in a UK paper.

There are at least 2 other pics she’s in, driving or in a car.

She shows up in newspapers all over the world when they have an article about young women driving, even papers in Africa.

Golly, she’s popular! Well, actually she’s part of a big set of “teens behind the wheel” getting Driver’s Ed ... from the stock picture photo houses. Even more funny, several different photo houses claim royalties for pictures of her. And NONE of the newspapers use the pictures without cropping off the photo house text at the bottom. Haha, just like bloggers!

  2. That redhead in the car looks almost exactly like my one of my old girlfriends in high school and college. (we both ended up at BYU) I’ve got several pics of her, but the only one I’d be willing to post is the professional pic taken at the BYU Sadie Hawkins Dance. Yes, she asked me to go. I think we were both still a little homesick; first time either of us had been that far away from home. Not that I have any other ‘bad’ pics, they’re just ‘casual’ pics of her or us at different events over the years: Church dances, weekend youth events at Dennison University, or just an evening of journal-writing in the dorm lobby at BYU.
