Lived there, done that. My Geology 101 class had me trace the beaches of Lake Bonneville.
I find it slightly suspicious that the rise and fall of that lake seems to coincide with the coming and going of ice ages. The last one ended about 10,000 years ago and Salt Lake rose to its present level. Melting glaciers? Who know? Geographic features like this tell me more about climate change than any book by Al Bore.
