  1. I’m not sure I would consider “Top Gun” good.  Unless by “good” you mean, “so bad...its good.” After having seen it in the theatres back in the 80’s, all the way until watching it on cable today, I think I can say with some certainty that that movie has some strong homosexual overtones to it.  It just may have been the “Brokeback” of its day...hahaha shock

  2. What homosexual overtones? I was in the Navy at the time and I would have spotted them. It was a good flick. I would have to add Far and Away as a third good Cruise movie.
