  1. The photo is taken from County Sligo Golf Course better known as Rosses Point. Beautiful links land course and one of the top 100 in the world. The little tip at the top of the Knock is, by legend, Maeve’s cairn. She is supposed to be buried under the large rock pile that makes up the cairn. Queen Mauve was one of the early figures in Irish Celtic folklore.
