  1. Nice looking hardware. But unless and until we develop the will to win, it’s just another airplane. Recall that photo from last week with the 190+ murderers standing at attention at the funeral of another animal, a scene that just screamed out for an overwhelming application of napalm? Where are the MEN with the cojones to pull the trigger?

  2. I agree what a wasted opportunity still this looks like an excellent bit of kit. 3000lb payload! Thats a lot of lead and destruction.

  3. 3000 pound payload, that would equate out to just about 16 pounds of fire and brimstone for each of those 190 talibandits.

Aye, shiver me timbers, Mateys! It’s Talk Like A Pirate Day once again!

(And, no, I won’t post any R-rated Limericks or sea shanties this time, I promise...)

  4. It might as well be a 2oz payload,if this fantastic tool is miss used like the one in service now, 100+ taliban just waiting to meet virgins and what ever bullshit on the other side, opps wrong button, sorry would not have gone a miss on the controlers part, now that would have been good .
    cool grin

  5. Just a point of clarification.
The RQ-4 Global Hawk is designed to find asshats.
    Its payload is purely sensors.
When you find asshats you call in other means to
terminate their fetid existence. Sadly the US destroyed
its stocks of napalm some years ago.
At the the start of the GWOT two Global Hawk test aircraft
went directly into service in theatre. Over 2 years they flew some
5000 hrs in total with an average mission length of the
order of 30 hours. And bear in mind that these were both
    essentially prototype airframes.

  6. Rat Patrol, you would love cornwall, they talk like that all the time, loads of pirate stuff down there, why aint we got a skull and crossbones flag?

  7. I didn’t know if G-Hawks could carry weapon payloads as do their smaller brethren, the Predators, with one or two “heckfire” missiles on board. Perhaps only one or two little “oops grenades” are required in some instances.
