  2. Squiggler, the USAF put guys on the end of the runways whenever the BUFFS took to the air.  They were all throwing corn on the cob into the air so as to get those pigs off of the ground.

  6. I thought that in the 70’s or 80’s the H-varient of the BUFF was able to carry 20 nuclear-capable cruise missiles:  8 in the rotary launcher (as hindmost), and 6 on each wing (12 more).  The rotary launcher’s front and center of the picture, and the 12 extra ALCM’s make up the 3rd row of ordnance.
