Three Years After

  1. Within every generation occur points in
time that are writ so large, they become
    milestones.

Forever imprinted on our collective and
    personal memory. Indelible. Impossible to
    forget.

We mark these points in time as dates.
    12/7/41. 11/22/63. 9/11/01. Numbers at
    first glance. Pivotal historical days
on which humanity was forever changed
    at second.

Each generation has its own dates to
    remember. Those are ours.

But it is not enough to simply recall
those days as milestones. No, they are
    much more than that.

Those days are when humanity came to
a fork in the road and chose a new path.

On this day, we must remember the path
    we chose, three years ago.

We chose to crush the cause of our
    collective and personal pain without
    mercy.

Time has a way of salving our wounds.

Time has a way of reducing the pain.

Time has a way of lulling us into ...
    complacency.

    NOT THIS TIME.

Those that would visit such times upon
us will know the wrath of our outrage.

There will be no place they can hide.

We WILL avenge our dead and we WILL
insure this ... time WILL be the last
    time.

  4. Allan - If my memory serves me right it was Gurl who won the contest- do you know where she might be? Haven’t seen her on the blogosphere in a while..........she used to make comments at OCM’s blog, but haven’t seen her there lately..........

  5. Dottie, Gurl was planning to leave Canada and join up with her fiancee in California to get married right after the contest. Her blog hasn’t been updated since March. She seems to have dropped off the radar screen. I’ll see if I can track her down and let you know.
