This Says It All

 

1. Thank you for posting me. Some times it just seems like all I’m doing is talking to the same people about the same things.

   How can the same people - who complained, whined about and not only wrote op-eds but also made movies (John Q for example) about ‘unaccountable, not doctors’ insurance companies between them and their doctor - who laugh at the inefficiency and continually rising cost of the Post Office - agree at the rudeness, laziness and snails pace of the DMV - can end up being the cheerleaders and voting for - No, demanding that the same Government (unaccountable, unproductive and overpaid) bureaucrats run healthcare? It simply boggles my mind at the stupidity, the hypocrisy and the utter lies that our current World governments function under - and the sheeple just go along with the crappola. These are the same people who screamed bloody hell (remember the infamous words of Her Royal Clinton - ‘It’s patriotic to dissent’) - when under the Patriot Act - evil bushaliburtonco was going to ‘view’ what books you checked out - and now this (p)Resident is listening into everyone’s phone calls, is about to get all Medical Records online (1 Jan 2014) and wants to data mine everything about your kids (not to mention to have them in state run ‘schools’ from age 2 to 21) - and the silence is deafening.

   I have always thought that America was different - that we had enough (legal) immigrants and generations of people who believe in working hard, playing harder, paying a few taxes and living by the ‘leave me alone, and I will leave you alone - the rest of the time’ philosophy. And then this stuff happens - and I just wonder what the hell happened to my America.

   The ‘rule of law’ (you know the screed when Repeal, Defunding or even making every single American citizen live under Obamacare is raised) is whatever the current position demands. Immigration is now longer enforced, criminal illegal invaders are given the same consideration as my maternal grandfather who came legally on a student visa after selling himself into bondage to come to Canada (where he got his college degree before coming to America for seminary). He became a citizen the same year my Mom was born. It is beyond insulting to those people - who came to America the proper, legal way. And it spits in the face of the ‘rule of law’. But hey, that is a whole ‘nother issue.

   From the beginning - the current (p)Resident has spit into the face of the ‘rule of law’, the Constitution and the American way of life - the tragic thing is - all of the people and institutions - who allowed him to get away with it - for what reason - simply because of his color?

   Isn’t that a pathetic commentary on what ‘elitists’ think of Blacks, Hispanics and muslims - that they must be ‘allowed’ to break the law - and no one must comment on it. I don’t think that it has a damn thing to do with ‘white guilt’ - I think it has to do with, ‘elitists’ truly, deep within their evil hearts and souls, believe that - the ‘colored and muslims’ could never succeed or be equal without ignoring their criminal ways. In other words, they can never be held accountable, because they simply can never be moral or law abiding. Ever.

   If I were of color/muslim - I would find that so offensive - I could never vote for a single person who encouraged/voted for a single program that ‘gave’ me anything simply for ‘being’. And no one seems to have figured it out - that they continue to vote/support those types of politicians/politics simply because they are exactly what the elitists think that they are - and they think it’s a big joke to get the stupid tax payers to fund their unaccountable life styles.

   And sadly, we do. And so it goes.

2. Well said Wardmom and on target as usual. If I could use words that way, I’d be getting paid for it.
   I can’t recall if I posted it or not, if I did it’s recent.  Over here the head of the UNITE union is encouraging immigrants to come here and is offering some kind of benefit provided they join the union.  I just can not recall all the details but that’s the bottom line of it. I much doubt he cares if they are legal or otherwise but the offer itself is mind boggling. The ppl who really do care about their country and write about it in the media, are not the ppl in power who decide how things will be. For everyone else.

3. Wardmama, Happy Christmas, maybe we are the same readers but its people like you who give me hope for a future for my son! Also this gravy train is off the rails and soon will be a total wreck and then we will see who can make it without help!
   On a side note I watched the film about the Tuskagee airmen (spelt right??) and they faced real (thanks to the democrats mostly) discrimination and succeeded admirably by being BETTER ! I do wonder what they would think of the feeble parasites too many afro americans have become? as for the mess cans look at their country, it would seem lazy and dishonest is the national trait, just what the USA don’t need.
   You are insightful and 100% correct, we need to convince some blacks to open their eyes and read some history outside wikpedia, see the left reap that karma storm. Should any of you guys visit the frozen north do drop by!

4. Chris - I’ve always held (1st hubby, two children huge history scholars) - that every people/country/ethnicity has conquered or been conquered. It is not the ‘purview’ of a single select pathetic minority. My Irish ancestors actually dropped th O’ from their last name and spelled it in the Scottish version - to get a leg up on the ethnic immigrant ladder. And Irish immigrants (and another one I can’t remember) were offered citizenship, if they built the main Chapel at West Point - in five years - they finished it in 14 months. The way a certain ethnic group came to America was bad and a sad state of the (then) current cultural state - but why must every single white person be persecuted for the sins of people more than 150 years ago? Most importantly - when many of them were also subject to discrimination and stereotyping. I am sick and tired of today’s liberals equating groups/whites - with a past history - that the very groups/whites gave up their lives and political ‘power’ if you will - to bring an end to. I have never owned a slave, most of my people are from the North or immigrated just before or after the Civil War (which was about states rights - but will be forever seen as inbred racists hicks from the South bitterly clinging to slavery) - so they never owned slaves. No one seems to know that Congress banned the importation of slaves in 1808. Which is the first step to bring about the end. Or that Cuba was (proportionally) a larger importer of slaves than America was. Or that the slave trade is still alive and well in 2013 in many countries of Africa. And the blacks today are slaves to ‘the man’ because they bought into the entitlement culture and gladly have their hands out for the freebies and then get po’d when they can’t live large on that ‘handout’. The Constitution only allowed for property owners to vote - as the framers were smart enough to know what would happen, if people who had no skin in the game, could vote. And look at where we are now.

   And here’s part of the reason. On Dec 19, 2013 - Al Sharpton held an anti-gun rally in Chicago - it turned into a rant against politics as usual and the Mayor - someone actually said - that the communities needed the Tea Party, someone actually said - Mr. President the man you sent us to be Mayor hates us and someone also said - You keep voting for these same people, how can you be so stupid. The media buried it (I saw it on Townhall Finance - like many people read the Finance pages of anything) - and chose rather to focus (laser like) on a man quoting the Bible.

   And Chris - the a in Tuskegee should be another e.
