This saves a whole lot of writing

 

1. Honestly, I can’t imagine how socialists/liberals/progressives manage to live. Everything is bad. The sky is always falling. The world is always ending. Shouldn’t they just commit mass suicide?

   Global warming.
   Ice age.
   Oil spills.
   Ozone holes.
   Species extinction.
   Ebola.
   Bird flu.
   Swine flu.
   GM foods.
   Smoking.
   Soft drinks.
   Fast food.
   Etc…

   Oh yes, now we have a very short heat wave that’s causing panic. As if we’ve never had heat waves before.

   I’m reminded of a verse from Mad Magazine back when I was a Boy Scout @1970:

   With all these dire warnings
   Of pain, doom, and strife;
   It’s hard to imagine
   A fate worse than life.

   (I only remember this because it became part of a skit we did at the monthly troop meeting. Which means I had to memorize it.)

   Libs have been crying ‘Wolf’ all of my life. Why don’t all you liberals just kill yourselves and help save the planet from your pessimism!

   Besides, if they didn’t have these pet issues to consume all their waking thoughts, they’d have to deal with, and live in, the same reality as the rest of us.

3. Really OCM? REALLY???

   Let’s add “eggs are bad” “salt is bad” “white sugar is bad” to the list. We can add “CFCs” and “DDT” if it helps. And the list should start with “cyclamates” which started it all I think.

   Picture getting clearer for you?
