She was Princess Elizabeth. She became Queen in 1952 when her father died.

The family (royal) remained in London during the Blitz because the queen mum felt it more important to share what her people were enduring.
She was only 19 at the time the picture was taken (she joined the Women’s Auxiliary Territorial Service). She ascended the throne on February 6, 1952.
Which just happened to be the day Hillary Clinton got her name, even though she was born 5 1/2 years before that. Go figure.
Oh wait, my bad ... Hillary got her name when Sir Edmund got to the top of the world, but that was on E2’s Coronation Day, which was more than a year after she actually became Queen.
