This One Really Takes Balls

 

1. Ah yes the insanity of giving another entitlement to someone who really shouldn’t be able to afford it (like giving the damn teleconverters to people who in essence should not be able to afford a tv). Our government at work.

   You got to catch our fav info guy on steroids - Kevin Trudeu is scamming a book - I don’t know if it is his Debt Cure one or a new one - that there are yepper you guessed it entitlements out there that even you can get. I almost threw up.

   I just wish someone had the uhm, balls, to stand up and say Hell No.

   Meanwhile in KY, we got our big dog neutered by a local Thrift Shop that all the monies went to the local Shelter, but once a year they sponsored a spay/neuter deal. We just barely squeaked through but got the dog taken care of for $25. which was about $65 less than it would have been.

   I’ve always said - combine some charity and willing vets - and they don’t have to sell out every single week or month - but a couple of times a year - and the pet ‘population’ problem would go away.

   My mom at 92 was still catching feral cats and taking them to her vet - spay/neutered, checked, shots etc. I know she paid some - but I also know (given the number) that a lot was written off/down. If an old woman who can barely walk can do - there is no excuse. Which is why we took one - it is the least we can do. And he is so cute.
