Sadly - reading Cao’s resume - he seems to trigger a lot of Liberal code words - social equality, justice, Katrina corruption - I fear he is just another Liberal with an R behind his name. I guess we shall see how he votes.
Having said that, I am glad to see 1) That the Republicans have another historical first (Whose the Party of the true racial equality now?!?) and 2) That William ‘Frozen Assets’ Jefferson lost his seat - maybe now that the DBCC and DNC aren’t behind him, he will actually see the inside of a court room.
To be fair, there has was a lot of corruption involved with Katrina. Granted, most of it centered around N.O. Mayor Ray Nagan, a Dem I believe, and the governor that I think Jindal replaced. The hurricane plan was good, it just didn’t get implemented.
Trust me on this one, Louisiana politics is as bad as Chicago.
