  1. You are correct Drew, somebody has to run the polls.  However, you are not correct when you say to not question the vote in Florida during Bush’s first election and Ohio in the second election.  I could give a Flyin Fuck about Africa, that’s not where it’s at Bud!  Where it’s at is right here in the good ole USA......So lets not beat two hard on the other side in the name of Africa.  Keep up the Good work, sure do get some enjoyment out of your site, it’s so much more interesting than the Liberal Dem sites I have looked at.

  2. I didn’t say not to question them LateFor, because there were shennanigans going on. “Voter Intent” much? Oh puh-leez. But I wanted to point out how bad it can be, and Zimbabwe is a very good bad example. What I said was about people crying that their rights were being trampled upon (disenfranchised), and the reason for nearly all of that was their own stupid. And I said that the hue and cry over “we can’t trust the voting machines” was a pile of hot air. Then I pointed out the situation in Africa, just to put a little perspective on things. We don’t know what bad is in this country. Not. A. Clue.

So often I see people in this country complaining because things are not 100% totally perfect and 100% totally safe. Sorry, that’s utopia, and that doesn’t exist. So yeah, comparing that kind of gripe against the reality of getting killed because of who you voted for really makes the complainers here look trite. That’s my whole point in a nutshell.

I’ll betcha a beer that come this November, if the results are close, we will have a “crisis” in one of the states concerning the votes that causes the pronouncement to be delayed at least a full day. The system is broken now, or at least permanently sullied, thanks largely to AlGore. You can’t regain innocence once its lost, but you can rebuild a better and stronger system the people can put their faith in. That is not happening as far as I know.

However, I have firm faith that my BMEWS readers could set up a bunch of rules inside a day that would let only the properly entitled people vote, and vote only once. Heck, we could design the voting machines, the voter registration & ID verification process, and the vote counting and publication process inside a week and it would be bulletproof. That we could do this means that nearly anybody could do this ... so the only reason we don’t have strict controls on the whole voting process is because some people somewhere are dragging their heels. On purpose. What purpose is served by this? Two: corruption and dishonesty. In today’s digital age the vote count for every state should be tabulated, verified, and published within 5 minutes of the polls closing. Yes, it is that easy.

  4. I’d say that in Rhodesia, the body count will reach hundreds of thousands, no thanks to that Dirty Fuckin’ Communist who will cling to power.

  5. Macker I am sorry to say I agree with you. If the other commie stooge Mbeki in South Africa had pulled the plug on Mr Rubber Penis Mugabe it would have been a peaceful transition, but the old comrades stick together like faeces and stink. This will get ugly.

  6. Drew,

Please try to keep tabs on the ship of arms and ammunition send to Mugabe with much love from the Chinese. The dockers at Durban had refused to unload it and last I heard, it was sailing to Maputo in Mozambique.

Each of the bullets in its cargo has the name of an MDC supporter on it.

    LyndonB,

You might like this cartoon shown on Shokwanele: kiss_arse.jpg. It’s # 4 in the gallery. I’m thinking of getting a load of T-shirts with this printed on the front.
