third christmas

My family is so fractured - a family Christmas hasn’t happened in a long time. I’d find it nice if my cousins would invite me (they are the closest at 2 hours away). But not happening. And my husbands family - well - it’s just too long a drive - which hubby and kids did in June. But none of them can seem to come here. Ok that was a bit snarky and un-Christmas like of me. We talked as they gathered at the youngest sisters home.
My adult kids (the ones not living at home) - I am not quite sure whats going on - but since I did see them all this fall. I suppose it’s ok. And my son and his family came last year - so that we could all see and have Oz’s first Christmas together. So I really shouldn’t b*tch too much - considering we have lived so far apart for so long.
