  1. I’m not a big moralist on the issue Chris but I am really annoyed at them for Lying about their real motivation ,which is purely monetary. The case before the SC is Exactly about Money from an estate, not some feel good BS on the part of the plaintiff. And as for facts, here is the primary Fact they can not argue with; They can’t complete the deal biologically. Legally, if you don’t copulate you can easily annul/dissolve any marriage contract at anytime up to and until the Act. Let them argue that. Another is that without a state sanction (License) no church ceremony is legally valid. And it’s That validity with the State that they want,Not the church. Ok, I’m done.

  2. I actually got told not to post my thoughts on somebody’s Facebook wall. Here’s my response:

Nina, if Derek doesn’t want the conversation, I would remind you that he posted this on MY wall. Ditto for you. Can’t handle the argument? Can’t defend the immorality you support? Then all of you should cease posting on my wall. I didn’t ask you to friend me, You asked me.

  3. I’m probably gonna get in trouble for this if my wife ever finds out, but Nina sucked in bed. I don’t mean in a good way… ‘tis why we only dated once.

  5. Don’t know what’s gross about it. Even lousy sex is better than no sex.

  6. Im against same sex marriage because the whole concept is biblical so either you abide by the bible or you dont! the fact most pedophiles are homosexual is irrelevant to me. Also apart from the odd idea of wanting in to a heterosexual Christian thing the hidden agenda is a massive worry!

  7. What gets me about the so-called “christians” who support teh gheys is that they all love to shove the one commandment Jesus Christ asked us to be and that was to love one another. They seem to ignore the other Ten Commandments, not to mention Leviticus and Paul’s Letter to The Romans!

  8. I’m going to side step the whole ethics issue.  It’s actually a simple application of existing Constitutional law.

Until civil marriage was introduced, marriage was strictly a religious function, regulated by what ever faith was doing the ceremony.  Therefore, when civil marriage was introduced, it was actually contrary to the 1st Amendment which states in part that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”

Creating civil marriage is certainly making a law respecting an establishment of religion and could also be construed as prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

Therefore, no government entity should have the legal power to regulate marriage.

That’s the good news.  The bad news is that if a homosexual couple can find a willing priest, minister, etc., that marriage is just as legal as any other.

The larger agenda isn’t about equal rights for homosexuals, the larger agenda is about damaging our society by creating yet another schism and we, both liberal and conservative are falling for it.
