The West must support Georgia and spell out costs of Vladimir Putin’s actions.

2. Have we got the military muscle Chris? I think we (or rather the US which is NATO) would struggle. It’s not like any of our NATO partners are worth a toss either. None of them with the exception of Canada and the US are up to much. Maybe the Polish and Hungarians? Better than the frigging Belgians to name but one.

   Aligning with Georgia could bring us a world of hurt. The Ruskies know we are in a weak position and are exploiting it. That said I think the Georgians have been rather foolish in their actions, the Ruskies were itching to give them a spanking.
