2. Yup, don’t overindulge; don’t “do youself too well”. Have a smoke instead, you sophisticated modern Gibson Girl, and keep that girlish figure. Because God knows, and your shadow does too, that you’ll be a fat triple chinned sow in a few years if you don’t.

   Guess they didn’t have X-rays yet. Better advice would have been to avoid the real, other heartless shadow - on her lungs - by not smoking at all.

   Funny how the world has done a total about face since the mid 80s, ain’t it?
