  1. I heard something this morning about NoKos possibly planning another nuke “test” underground near or directly under the DMZ.  Suposedly the area is laced with tunnels, much like an oversized termite nest. Stay tuned… Feces could be impacting the rotary ventilator soon…

Only thing I have to say about Gorby, is that he is definitely less of a commie than is peanut head Jimmah Carter.  laughing_tv

  2. ....and I’ve been looking forward to old age.  I hope Carter is not an example of what it’ll be like.

  3. Carter, STFU, put some peanut butter on it, and go build some homes.

  4. Would somebody pls push that sob down a flight of stairs! He is like a Palestinian, searching the world looking for a home and leaving a mess to clean up wherever he has been!  wink

  5. That doddering peanuthead went to North Korea like Chamberlain went to Munich.  But apparently Peanuthead does not have to take a back seat to Chamberlain in terms of his capacity for self-delusion.

“The sanctions proposed by the Clinton administration,” indeed!  “Sanctions” in one hand, and nuke technology in the other! “I’m going to give you lots of nice toys because I’m a nice guy, but do puh-LEEZ behave like a nice boy!” Some carrot-and-stick approach, I must say!

As for the Gorbachev, unlamented sidebar that he now is, I’ll repeat what I noted a few threads back.  There is no reason to pay any attention to anyone whose major contribution toward improving the world political climate was made at the tip of Boris Yeltsin’s boot.  A damn shame that Boris didn’t kick his ass so high that we would need a space shuttle to bring it down again!

Now, as to the fence along the Yalu, I wonder who it’s really meant to delay or deter, if in fact it’s meant to delay or deter anyone.  I cannot buy that line about “smuggling and illegal crossing.” It’s the Yalu, not the Rio Grande.  And I don’t see the Chicomms deciding that they need a latter-day Maginot Line to “protect” them against North Korea.  The idea that they are building it to protect North Korea against themselves is ludicrous on its face.

There is more to this than meets the eye, and “conventional wisdom” (a contradiction in terms) be damned.

Interesting times indeed, Skip.  My advice would be to expect the most unforeseeable and probably the most completely insane thing that could happen.

And not just along the Yalu.

    wink

Damn Kirk, you stole my line <g>…

You know, in nursing homes, the staff chuckle over this kind of dementia, but in the
real world, the MSM quotes Jimmah like he was Moses coming down of the mountaim with
stone tablets in his hands.  crazy
