The United States of America looks frighteningly close to being ungovernable.

 

1. I wrote a long rant - but somehow just at the end - it disappeared into computer hell - so simple to say: Slavery - Proof that the GOP isn’t obssessed, being held ‘hostage’ by the Tea Party or racist - bad laws have been overturned in both America and Britain’s history. As to the ‘votes’ being the ‘will of the people’ - 1) When ever has Congress sat on Christmas Eve to pass a specific bill? 2) Only 1 R voted (Cao - who was voted out in his re-election bid) in either House for it - thus millions of Americans ‘were’ NOT voting for it. 3) At to the PPACA’s ‘Constitutionality’ - the 18th Amendment was ‘found’ to be Constitutional until it was overturned by the 21st Amendment. 4) Since President Obama has ALREADY violated the INTENT of the PPACA with his waivers, delay and subsidies - what is the problem with Repeal, Defund, or Delay by Congres? 5) A Mr. Barry Soetoro living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave Washington DC 20500 is REGISTERED to vote - showing that our Election system (such as 2008 - 14 states accused ACORN of election fraud and the PA NBPP voter intimidation case - were ignored by Holder’s DOJ and 2012 - 56 precincts had 100% voting for Obama (a statistical impossibility) and of course my favorite (as it is local) Ms Poll ‘I voted 6 times but it isn’t election fraud’ Woker) is as corrupt as the Federal Government. 6) The House has gone from Repeal, to Defund, to Delay, to Everyone on the PPACA - how is that NOT negotiating?

   And why did he have to bring up gun control - but failed to mention the truly Constitutionally relevant clause - Shall NOT be Infringed?

   And to attack ‘flyover’ Christians - while glossing over muslims - but conveniently forgetting Rev Wright’s - God Damn America and AmeriKKKA sermons.

   America is NOT ungovernable - the Federal Government has become more corrupt, more un-Constitutional and IS THE PROBLEM. And like America has always done - We The People work together and FIX our problems.

   America was, is and always has been vastly different from other countries of the world - and THAT is what everyone who is a Leftist, Communist, Socialist, Nanny Stater, muslim or tyrant has hated from the beginning - it’s Freedom, it’s Constitution, it’s being CONTROLLED by the People - it is a beacon to the World and most of the World wants it MONEY while spitting upon it’s Core Ideals - which tragically is what is happening in DC right now.

   They want to reset the clock to around 1955

   To me it would be (if true) so much better than Back to Slavery - or into total tyrannical control by a dictator such as Obama - who cares for NO ONE but himself - and would cheerfully destroy (by any means necessary) anyone who stood in his way - including the operation of the US Federal Government.

3. "a terrifying number” ... yeah right. Just because I wake up in hope each day and run to the TV news, doesn’t mean that dozens of millions of others do the same thing.

   And no, not 1955. How about 1985, or whenever it was that was a week before Tawana Brawley and Al Sharpton showed up? Because up to then, race relations had been going pretty good, a little better every year, and the family and work ethic in the Black Community was not yet dead. After that ... it’s been straight downhill in a death spiral every since. And that’s with endless PC, EBT, TAP, SNAP, WIC, Affirmative Action, Lowered Standards and all sorts of Head Start programs running full speed every single day.

   You can’t give a people freedom. You can’t give them equality. If it isn’t earned, it has no value to them. Especially when there is a massive safety net that gives a seemingly decent middle class level of life with zero effort on their part.

   PS - if this silly English person, whose mother is a hamster and whose father smells of elderberries, knew anything about America, he’d understand that, deep down, we’re SUPPOSED to be nearly ungovernable. Freedom’s wild ride. That’s WHY we set this place up with highly limited government ... so they’d stay out of the way!

4. That crooked repoert is what the MSM want us to believe, had he looked a little deeper, and read the constitution (I did a few years back, England lost some smart men there!) he would understand the GOp shockingly are standing up for democracy! time you yanks got out in the streets and shouted that! I thought we were heading for another dark ages but with this and Egypt maybe not!
   (btw Im english and live in Canada as the socialist utipia of the former GB was unliveable!)

5. In my most humble opinion this stalemate is a Feature,Not a bug in our system.And the Founders made it this way for exactly that reason.
