  1. Very well done indeed.

In all fairness to the world, a few other dates could be added to the list, like 1860.  The USA went to hell in a hand basket then too.  The very same can be said 80 years prior to that in the USA.  Before that it was falling apart all over Europe with the short Frenchman.

I don’t personally think any country could muster much of a fight against the USA in the 21st Century.  Remember Iraq had the 4th largest standing army in the world and those bozos went down so fast it made our heads spin.

Now the real danger lies within our borders and that may be eliminated soon too.  Thanks to the World Wide Web and so many outlets for information, like Barking-Moonbat.com, the old controlled mind numbing propaganda of the American media is starting to fade too.

So keep up your good information, now that you have plundered your readership for cash, because we are all depending on our BD and Sec. of War to keep us informed of dangers on our horizons.  May I suggest the lunatic opponents raise their White Flags and stand down.

Or I could be wrong. oh oh

  2. Hey Catman, you’re supposed to be counting on your LEFT hand, old buddy wink.  Leave the right hand to folks who salute with it cool smirk

Peace (but not at any price).

  3. Did I mention that the 5000 year Mayan calendar ends on December 23, 2012?
Not that I believe it...I’m just saying… toilet

  4. A thought-provoking piece.  100 years ago the US was in the middle of the Industrial Revolution and its necessary urbanization.  The working folks were in a state of nearly perpetual riot.  Please note that people voluntarily came to the cities, wretched though they might be.  So much for the Bucolic Paradise.

Apocalyptic prophecies have not been correct— so far.  May I recommend a book named The Fortune Sellers ?  It convinced me to ignore predictions other than the short-term weather forecast.

Regarding animals: my favorite alltime New Yorker cartoon was during the Lindsay disaster.  It showed all the cats and dogs leaving NY via the Brooklyn bridge.  They all had blank stares, like someone facing the inevitable apocalypse.

  5. I’m not predicting the apocalypse, Oink. I’ll leave that to the tin-foil hat wearers. What I am seeing is historical cycles. The world is gearing up again for some sort of deadly confrontation.

I have no idea what it will be or when. All I know is a lot of people are getting weird again .... why? Can you deny the fact that a large number of humans are starting to “weird out” lately?

Something I learnd in the Boy Scouts decades ago comes to mind: “BE PREPARED”. World War I caught a lot of people off-guard. Twenty million died before the dust settled. Yet the warning signs were all there ....

  6. The “weird out” peoples are the Democrats.

It’s like Carl Rove is making their decisions in such a way as to make them only a memory soon.  Let’s face it, only a Republican could possibly desire Howard Dean and his Deaniacs in charge of the Democrat party.

Rove must of picked Al Gore and Jenjis John Kerry to be President Bush’s opponents in 2000 and in 2004.  We couldn’t ask for bigger looosers to go up against.  I’m hoping for Al Sharpton as the candidate in 2008.

All in all things are going pretty good. cool smirk
