THE PRICE OF FUEL AND THE FUTURE

 

1. Great video clip. I think it needs someone to inspire the US to overcome the challenge posed by Dictator oil. In the short term we still needs oil so why not get it closer to home? Nuclear power is something we have to invest in and promote the move to an alternative fuel. The West cannot afford to be held to ransom by the barbarians sitting on oil. Eventually we would hold the whip hand again as they would have trouble eating sand. In the short term I half agree with the idea of dumping the petroleum reserves to punish the greedy speculators. However my hope is that GWB is planning to bomb Iran into the stone age and will need the oil stocks.

4. Peiper. I changed the avatar from a seedy pic of one of my heroes Terry Thomas to a copy of a T shirt I have. No real reason, just fancied a change and I despise Che so it reflects my politics I suppose.
