  1. They can frown of my living ass - not smile on my dead one.

Having a gun is not enough.  Learn how to use it.  Learn safety.

Then blow that sorry-assed f*ck out of his socks. 2gunsfiring  uzi

  2. And just where was George Bush? I bet he was on vacation! Why didn’t he fly in and rescue this poor young woman? What was her race? Did he visit ground zero, the sceen of the crime? Has he yet?

George Bush dosn’t care about dead people.

  3. Absolutely, Rick! It’s all Bush’s fault!

    LOL

  4. She should have had the Mossberg 500 home protection kit with a few boxes of 00 buckshot and training.

  5. Paul,

What is in such a kit?

  6. Don’t Florida gun laws allow you to have weapons in your home?

  7. This is how it’s done.  smile

  8. Rickvid: Actually there is no such kit sold you have to make it up yourself starting with
a Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun and whatever accessories you decide you want by reading some of the many home defense shotgun discussion pages you will find by google seaching

  9. Paul: Figgered that would be the cae, just thought you might have some suggestions.

Mossberg Special Purpose 12 gauge, 00 buck; Kelites in 2 or 3 sizes; pepper spray; kubaton; martial arts training for last ditch defense.

I take krav maga here in Seattle, myself. The real Israeli krav, not the 2-week-seminar stuff being peddled by the LA krav guys.

  10. I agree.  Shotguns are perfect for home defense.
    1.  Looking down the barrel of one is enough to make a sane person stop what he’s doing.
    2.  The stopping power is considerable; perfect aim is not required.
    3.  It’s hard to accidentally shoot yourself with one. Unlike a pistol.

  11. They just changed the castle doctrine so you don’t have to drag the dead offender back into your house in florida.. only problem is it doesnt take effect till october 1st and either wayt she is dead :(

  12. I Googled this:  The Florida “Castle Doctrine” law basically does three things:

One: It establishes, in law, the presumption that a criminal who forcibly enters or intrudes into your home or occupied vehicle is there to cause death or great bodily harm, therefore a person may use any manner of force, including deadly force, against that person.

Two: It removes the “duty to retreat” if you are attacked in any place you have a right to be. You no longer have to turn your back on a criminal and try to run when attacked. Instead, you may stand your ground and fight back, meeting force with force, including deadly force, if you reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent death or great bodily harm to yourself or others. [This is an American right repeatedly recognized in Supreme Court gun cases.]

Three: It provides that persons using force authorized by law shall not be prosecuted for using such force.

It also prohibits criminals and their families from suing victims for injuring or killing the criminals who have attacked them.

I’m having a problem: Why do we need a new law to establish what should be obvious to a cow?

  13. Umm the text you posted is the law as it was changed that goes into effect october 1st.....

till the law becomes official it still has the duty to retreat....

  14. Oink, #13

    0) The sound of racking a shell into the chamber is enough to send a prudent perp running.

Have a look at the Box-O-truth for some home fashioned penetration tests.  “What you always wanted to know...But were unable to test yourself!”

  15. Also it extends the removal of the duty to retreat to your car too..

  16. Rickvid: Yes the special purpose Mossberg 500 is a good one I am also looking at the 590 model which appears to be a more developed version of it. The Remmington 870 and a couple others makes were also highly regarded. I also have a Beretta .380 automatic pistol with several clips and and a full box of ammo in a very handy location. I would also start accumulating ammo and a few other fireams in case the gun grabbers get suddenly far worse in rabbidly liberal greater Seattle where I also live.
