I’ll grant you that I think feedback from the student can potentially be of value to the teacher. Nor do I have a problem with the idea of schoolkids learning that respect is something that has to be *earned*, even by their teachers. But the article makes it pretty plain that some of the students at least *think* it also gives them authority with the teacher. DUMB idea.
