  1. Shoot, my home county (San Bernardino County, CA) is 20,160 sqmi! THAT is a big county (compare it to some New England states...). Even the county I am in now (Yavapai County, AZ) is 8,123 sqmi. Pops for those counties:

    San Berdo - 1,709,434
    Yavapai - 184,433

    Do the density on those…

Although, there are no county public transportation systems, these being relatively non-moonbat areas of concentration.

  2. San Bernardino County, CA is the largest County in US. (square miles) California itself is what it is today (no...not gay central) because of the automobile. It is nearly impossible for anyone to function without a vehicle unless you live in one of the bigger cities.(where buses compete for space with Lexus, Rolls Royce and Mercedes) Out here in the country, everything is short drive away. Work is usually a minimum 40 minute commute. I’ll bet that everyone I know could not reduce their need for fuel by anymore than 1 or 2 percent. Very little driving is optional, maybe the measly 2 weeks vacation most Americans are able to take. We just can’t carry 12 plastic grocery bags or 12 2X4s on a bus. If you look at the sales of SUVs and Pickup Trucks and the overflowing parking lots at Malls, Home Depot and Lowe’s, it says that people have loads to haul around, kids & their gear, pets, patio brick, whatever. And the Propane powered Buses have at last 3 passengers most of the time. Even out here at times it is total gridlock at peak hours with most vehicles holding only the driver but ask them if this trip is necessary? 99% would say absolutely.
