  1. One Comment please? BULLSHIT!

You think maybe foreigners are going to buy our stuff without us buying theirs?

(Keep it simple OINK—they don’t all have degrees in Economics)

Imagine we split the 50 States up into restricted trade zones.  You think that would increase employment? Same applies to countries. Have you been standing close to Ross Perot and caught Moonbat Syndrome?

  2. Hello from the Liberal capital of the world, Detroit.  2gunsfiring

Liberal Bimbo Governor Granholm went crazy the other day and said that the American taxpayers have to pay everything that was promised to union employees from their broke employers.  What a cow.  She wants to stop globalization, good luck to her.

The other Detroit newspaper, not quite as Liberal as “The Detroit Free Press” said it well today in an editorial.  They report:  The powers of denial ensure it may be some time before our politicians, unions and even corporate leaders catch up to that fact. Exhibit A was the knee-jerk rant by Gov. Jennifer Granholm, who pronounced herself “angry” at Delphi. She then went on to blame the usual catalog of left-wing villains: “globalization,” “outsourcing,” “upper management,” “lack of support from Washington for the industries that made our country great” and “so-called free trade.”

Oh yes, and not enough government spending on health care.

But no amount of foot-stamping is likely to change facts. Among them: Delphi’s 33,000 unionized workers in the United States, like those of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler, still earn far above the national average in wages and benefits long after it was clear that this was no longer sustainable.

The evil Liberal left has drawn a line in the sand and will be making their stand in Michigan for the 2006 election.  They can feel the loss of 2 of their barking moonbat liberals, Governor Granholm and Senator Debbie Stabenow.  Untold millions will pour into the state from ultra Liberal “EMILY’s List” to stop Michigan from turning red.  Republican Billionaire Dick Devos is running for Governor and PHD Jerry Zandstra is running for the U.S. Senate.  This is a Republican Michigan dream team, money and brains.  Senator Debbie Stabenow voted against the MSA (HSA) so you can just imagine how I feel about her.  Not only is Stabenow a far left Liberal but she is dumb like a rock.  I can hardly wait to see her debate PHD Zandstra who I know has a tax free HSA on his family.  Zandstra will chew her up and spit her out and become the strongest voice in the Senate on President Bush’s “Ownership Society.”

Vote Republican, Vote Zandstra for Z-Truth flag

Republican Party bosses don’t want Zandstra but some other guy named Butler.  They are both ministers but Butler owns 2 jets, I kid you not.  He refuses to debate Zandstra because he knows he will go down in flames.  He has spent mountains of money but Zandstra still leads in the polls.  Zandstra is the grass roots candidate.

We can’t have both Republican candidates owning multiple jets.  We need one with brains.  Afterall, knowledge is more valuable than money.

Butler won’t mention health care reform and Zandstra makes it one of his main topics.

Vote for brains, vote Zandstra http://www.jerryzandstra.com/

  4. Please, Please save the state I left! Please throw Granholm and Stabenow out on their asses! I guess we’ll have to wait for Levin’s seat until he either retires or dies.

  7. WTF!  According to a 2004 study Honda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, Brose, Denso, Valeo and Yazaki have all built and are building more automotive plants within the southern US (hmm mostly Red States).  They employ Americans!  Just because Michigan is too liberal and screwed the corporations over on taxes is no excuse for their bitching.  Michigan has lost the auto business monopoly.

I don’t doubt that the UAW Union has little power or control over these workers as well.  This is an attempt to free themselves from the insanity of the UAW Union.  Saturn is the only American car company that the UAW doesn’t really have a stranglehold over.  Their union contract is a simple pamphlet while GM’s is 10 volumes each 3 inches thick!

Unions had their place in history but now they are just getting greedy and blackmailing corporations with ridiculous demands.

  8. I agree with MJS and OCM (damn!). The time for the unions to end has come. Their leadership is more corrupt than Louisiana (DAMN!), and all they do is raise our prices and keep people from actually working. Plus, they’re all in the tank for the Demoncraps.

  9. Wow OCM, people are agreeing with you now.

I’m being really nice to you in case your settlement ends up being the proper amount.

I don’t know too many “rich” people.  peace

  10. I see no problem at all with employees organizing to present a united bargaining front.  Call it a Union—why not?  The problem arises (what a surprise!) when Government gets involved. First there was anti-union legislation, then pro-union. Why not let the people involved hash it out themselves, with general anti-fraud & anti-coersion laws applied?

Posted by Oink    United States   10/12/2005  at  05:28 PM

  11. Most big unions are like Peta, ACLU, OSHA, etc. They started with a worthwhile purpose then couldn’t resist the feeling of power and just had to have more.

  12. Michigan only needs to recapture the three counties held hostage to become a Red state.
Other than Wayne,Oakland and Macomb counties it is a RED State.  pinkelefant

  13. bat:  There was a movement several years ago by some S. Michigan counties wanting to seceed from MI and join Indiana.  More symbolic than substantive, I believe.
