2. Maybe they could do this on an episode of ‘Mythbusters’? They’ve made a one-shot cannon out of leather and another out of a log, so if they say it’s nuts, it’d have to be obvious to even the Feds.

3. You must be joking.

   Toy guns to real guns? Even a lowly mailman knows something about metallurgy, gas pressure, etc. I would have to essentially build the real thing inside the toy gun shell. That’s not a ‘simple conversion’. That’s camouflaging the real thing as a toy. No different than building a one-shot derringer into your camera. Saw that on some spy movie way back when. Matt Helm movie?

   Cardboard and duct tape? Maybe, just maybe it would fire...once. Doubtless kill or seriously injure the DAW (Darwin Award Winner) who tried it. Making a zip gun would be a better, and marginally safer, option.
