2. Never heard of Jessica Alba? Hoo boy. See what happens when you live without TV?

   Next week it will be “Check out this adorable full figure blond I just discovered! Her name is Jessica Simpson. Has anyone ever heard of her?”

   That’s Ok. It keeps us entertained at least. I personally have just “discovered” soon-to-be-princess Kate. Oh my, isn’t she lovely? “Just” as in, oh about 3-4 weeks ago. Never heard of her before that. See? Each of us has their own rock to live under.

3. He was editor of the Daily Mirror for quite a while (a socialist rag) but has also worked for Rupert Murdoch.
   

   Morgan was fired from the Mirror on 14 May 2004 after authorising the newspaper’s publication of photographs allegedly showing Iraqi prisoners being abused by British Army soldiers from the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment.[13] Within days the photographs were shown to be crude fakes. Under the headline “SORRY.. WE WERE HOAXED”, the Mirror responded that it had fallen victim to a “calculated and malicious hoax” and apologised for the publication of the photographs

   In 2000, he was the subject of an investigation after Suzy Jagger wrote a story in The Daily Telegraph revealing that he had bought £20,000 worth of shares in the computer company Viglen soon before the Mirror ‘s ‘City Slickers’ column tipped Viglen as a good buy.[10] Morgan was found by the Press Complaints Commission to have breached the Code of Conduct on financial journalism, but kept his job. The ‘City Slickers’ columnists, Anil Bhoyrul and James Hipwell, were both found to have committed further breaches of the Code, and were sacked before the inquiry. In 2004, further enquiry by the Department of Trade and Industry cleared Morgan from any charges.[11] On 7 December 2005 Bhoyrul and Hipwell were convicted of conspiracy to breach the Financial Services Act. During the trial it emerged that Morgan had bought £67,000 worth of Viglen shares, emptying his bank account and investing under his wife’s name too.[12]

   The man is a horses arse to put it politely.

4. Lyndon ...
   I was hoping you’d be out there.  Thanks. I couldn’t remember exactly what it was but knew something amiss. Anyway ... seeing the magazine column on Sundays, he always seems to be self impressed. There’s an awful lot of I,I,Me,Me in there. I was thinking he was just a gossip columnist. Anyway, without ever having heard him or even seen him (no TV and no YT interest) I kinda thought CNN was making a mistake. Not sure how American audience will take to that guy. BUT ... heck. Look at the ones my countrymen and women have already taken to in the past and the present. So he could make it. ???

   Funny thing about that. I had downloaded a couple of photos and was going to post but then changed my mind as I had second thoughts as to whether or not it would interest anyone back home. Yeah, she sure is pretty.

   Jessica Simpson?  ??  Cartoon Simpsons? Oh, wait. There really is someone, a model?
   I have to Google this now darn it and it’s late.  Jessica Simpson you say.

7. Who is Larry King? I thought he left tv decades ago (well at least when we had the channel on our guide, he was never on the show). So who cares that an old stupid geezer has been replaced by a self-absorbed younger stupid geezer - big diff.

8. Oh yeah - Peiper - Jessica Simpson is not only your eye candy - She supports the Troops - saw her twice at Ft. Hood back when we were there. Well barely when she got out of the Humvee - the crowd was so large - who knew all those soldiers had so much time to spare?!?
   Anyway - she is one hollyweird person I can support - since she supports Our Troops.
