Don’t blame me. Simon R. Green wrote the story with a gay unicorn. I couldn’t make that up.

I would also point out that after Sir Rodney rescued the Dragon from the Princess (seriously, the Princess was humiliating the poor Dragon when Rodney showed up), the Princess was NOT qualified to ride the unicorn. Sir Rodney was. This situation was rectified by the end of the book. Neither the Princess or Rodney could ride the unicorn. Even a gay unicorn.
