My bottom line is a little simpler.
I’ll vote for a stray dog before I vote for Obama, or any other Democrat.
I sort of agree with you Drew on the abortion thing - but alas, the biased media feeds it that the _______(fill in the blank - bitter, clingers, evangelicals, conservatives, crazy nuts - whatever) of the Right want this to be an issue - so they pipe up what they think the (see above) want to hear.
Personally I think it is a personal issue, should have been, should be and always should be a State issue - thus the biggest problem with it would cease to exist (Federal Funding of it) - and it would thus uphold the 10th Amendment. Typical liberals couldn’t get it through legislatively - so they punted it to the Supreme Court who made up the grounds for their decision and of course the liberals, took their toe in the door and ran it into taxpayer funding of abortion. Thus, that’s why it is a part of the ‘issues’ at all.
I disagree with you on Bachman - hells, bells - she’s been in Congress longer than our quitter (154 days) (p)Resident!
Sadly, I’m with Dr. Jeff - another vote for arsenic or hemlock. One time, just one time I’d wish the GOP would offer us a tall, cool refreshing drink of patriotism and real conservatism that will be a positive step in the RIGHT direction in America instead of a Dem-lite or RINO waste of time.
It takes 38, not 36, states to pass a Constitutional Amendment.
