  1. The ISG’s real plan in just two words:

    Surrender.

    Withdraw.

  2. I can’t face this insanity. Someone please feed Bulldog six good pints and let him have a rant at it.

  3. Iraq may be bad but Iran is worse, and at least half the cause of this whole mess

  4. Ah, a chickenshit little troll, too afraid to even register using an alias. My my.

You’ve got it bass-ackwards little troll. This administration didn’t listen to the Conservatives. Instead they listened to the left and the media and its polls, and chose the soft hand approach to warfare. One article snuck into a conservative e-zine that espouses the standard dhimmi pre-war talking points does not the conservative viewpoint make.

Neocons? Whatsa neocon? A “new conservative” or are you trying to say “jew” in code the way the rest of your San Francisco ilk do?

The viewpoint here has long been that you fight a war to win totally, or you don’t fight at all. A lot of us saw Powell as a wimp before 9/11, we were very bothered that Bush left the unfaithful clintonista Tenet in charge of the CIA, that Condi’s clean-up of the state department was not sufficient, etc. We were uneasy with the troop levels when this war began but that seemed to work. We were far more uneasy when insurgent actions started up and were allowed to continue. Fallujah would have been a smoking crater inside 48 hours if any regular reader here had been in command. I would have bombed Tikrit flat just on general principle at the start of the campaign. Brutal and Draconian, true, but that’s what war is all about. Unquestionable victory for us, unconditional surrender for them. Try reading Dave Limbaugh’s new column, wherein he writes about the ISG report, and wonders if the pursuit of total victory was ever even an option. That’s some of the real Conservative viewpoint right there.

As for destroying the party, even the strongly left leaning, appeasement centric Republican Senator McCain said, very soon after this last election, that it was the party that had abandoned/ignored the base. That’s us.

Little Troll, please be brave and register, and come back and debate sans ad hominem. We welcome that.

  5. Debate? Debate? I don’t do no stinkin’ debate! You neo-cons just sit down and shut up and listen to me and my pals tell you what you think, say and do!

Peace, love, tolerance - IF WE approve of it!
