Sorry - as annoying as this crap is - Bravo to the Royal Navy for not stooping down to the sub-human behavior of the slimy radical terrorists who happen to be islamic that we are fighting against. I pray that every person - military, civilian, LEO and court - never, ever begin to treat the radical terrorists who happen to be islamic as the slimy, lying, murdering and violent ROP treats everyone else including islamic people who just don’t quite buy into their bs.

With regard to the modern day version. They know pretty much that they won’t be abused or hurt. After all, they have rights.The mistake I think you’re making is to possibly regard these life forms as in some way, human. No ... these folks don’t recognize the difference and see us as weak. The only way to treat with them is to kill as many as we can and as fast as we can, due in some measure to their insect like breeding habits. If pirates knew with certainty that a meeting with any of the powers navies would meet with instant death, instead of a meal and a free trip home, you’d see an end to it. Just like the old days. Except with today’s weapons, we could kill more of them and faster too. And that would be the end of it.
Look what’s happening here in the UK for one example if the subject is terror instead of pirates. That slime Bin-man-Moohamid who was let out of Guantanamo is here under asylum now, having received his freedom in some measure by the humane and stupid efforts of some liberals and especially one of the newspapers. Certainly he was returned here by some help from the previous govt. I believe. AND? He’s now suing the very ppl who saved his worthless black ass, claiming that the Brits allowed him to be tortured by Americans and others.
They know how to play the system ok. But only because it’s allowed to be that way. There should have been an accident arranged long ago. Now, the Brit txpayer is supporting him. The only way TO beat them is for them to fear us. I mean FEAR us. Giving them rights and food and lodging (even the brig is far better than they’re acustomed to)and medical care and all that? It’s a joy for THEM to get captured. The only way to make them stop is to brutally kill enough of them that they no longer find it a positive idea.
They capture a ship and hold it for ransom? SCORE!
They get caught and taken care of by the infidel? SCORE!
