  1. Is CU EVER going to fire this guy’s ass?

  2. Here’s a treat ala Rathergate.

  3. What I would like to know is, does Churchill’s copying of others art constitute forgery? Churchill’s copying of others art does constitute copyright violations, but are there any criminal penalties associated with copyright violations or just civil redress?
I would like nothing better than to see Churchill’s future taken out of the hands of CU and put into the hands of a criminal court proceeding.

  4. Some of the paintings are painted versions of photographs, which may or may not be illegal if uncited, BUT the major one in question is a TOTAL forgery.

I emailed the guy selling acopy of the forgery on Ebay and warned him, just in case there is any kind of liability that can come back on him for selling a known forgery. Nobody knew he was THIS much of a fraud until Wed night, so the seller is probably innocent but since I’m not a lawyer, I don’t know.

I almost hope CU doesn’t fire the guy, just to see what happens to their enrollment a year from now. Pass the popcorn.

  5. This is really gross.  I was just listening to a radio interview with a Prof Braider at U of C.

Prof Braider is a professor of french literature at U of C, and advances the arguement that since the investigation into Ward Churchill was based upon his controversial comments, any evidence of lies, plagerism, academic fraud, etc cannot be used against him.  Freedom of speech will void any non speech related issues that happen to turn up in the process.

I wonder if there is legal precedent to support Prof Braider?

Braider is one of Churchill’s knob polishers.
What Braider is trying to do is impose rules of evidence that you have in a criminal proceeding to the Chancellor’s investigation. That is nothing but crap. The Chancellor’s investigation is trying to determine if there is due cause to fire Churchill and can look into any evidence they choose to. My problem with the Chancellors investigation is that a Mr. Gleeson(hope I’ve got the name right) is one of three people doing the investigation. Gleeson has a vested interest in seeing Churchill stay on as he has been singing praises about Churchill for the past five+ years. If Churchill goes, Gleeson is going to look like the ass that he is. What I think is going on is that the far left professors and management at CU are setting up a situation where they have an excuse to keep Churchill on with out losing face, i.e. Braiders argument. Which is why I am very interested in Churchill’s art scam. If this is criminal activity, then the whole thing is mute and Churchill will have to go.

Did you happen to watch Ward Churchills assault upon the media people when they were interviewing him about the plagiarzied artwork?  It is hilarious.

Ward storms into his office and slams the door.  After he has had time to compose himself and perhaps call his attorney he comes back out and blames the victim for not knowing the artwork is a fake.

I would not be surprised to see Churchill claim that he had a phone conversation with the original artist (now dead) and got verbal permission over the phone.

The closer you get, the greater the stench.

Yes, I caught that on the news. I was hoping like hell that Churchill would lose it and really let that camera man have it. I don’t wish any harm on the camera man but seeing Churchill get his ass hauled off to jail would have done my heart good. I’m waiting, one of these times Churchill is going to completely lose it, he’ll get his ass put in the county jail, CU will have to fire him, and Colorado will be done with the Bastard. A lot of people are saying that if he gets fired from CU he will become a lefty star, and get hired by Berkely making twice the money. FINE BY ME. If that gets him the fuck out of Colorado then great, good riddance and good bye, and take Russel Means & Glen Morris with you when you go!

Hell, Churchill and Berkely are made for each other anyway.

  9. I can appreciate your desire to be rid of Ward Churchill, but that leaves the question of where will he go?

The answer can be found at the source.  To use Ward Churchill’s own words (slightly modified), “We want Ward Churchill gone:  transform the situation to Ward Churchill out of North America.  Ward Churchill off the planet.  Out of existence altogether.

    Well said Ward.
