Wife asked an interesting question and in my anger, I hadn’t thought of it.
How is it legal for a state to accept money from a foreign entity? Especially when the foreigners are promoting a direct interest in a change in OUR LAWS.

1. Not sure that it is. Read the Constitution; there are bits in there about officials getting gifts from abroad, not sure about States.

   And I doubt seriously if what this dingbat is promoting is actually democracy. More like socialism via mob rule.

   It bothers me a lot that they can have any influence or try to gain any, to alter or amend in any way, laws in the USA based on their standards.

   Also, I’m guessing you’re NOT a EUropean? Not an EU citizen? Personally, I’m not certain that the EU has citizens. More like subjects. But I would have guessed you to be British before being a EUropean. Even British before USAmerican.

   So, peiper, are you British? Or American? There was a time I’d accept ‘both’ as a choice, but that was before the EU tyranny.

   As for them altering US law, we’re aware of it, and we are working against it. I don’t think it will survive in the long run.

5. Christopher ... What I was trying to say was if they insist on polluting their home ground fine but stay the hell out of my country. Which is the USA! I thought you knew that.
   Been here 7 years cos married to Brit and we moved here to care for her elderly mom in ‘04.
   She finally passed away about a year ago, or maybe it’s been a bit longer but not much.  But we’re stuck here for awhile. How long? Who knows? We sure don’t.  Anyway, it’s difficult not to be PO’d when I see things happening to this place (England) when I see what the left has done and continues to do. But NEVER anything before AMERICAN!  And as for the left here and in Europa ... they’d love to have us become them. Be better off dead. The very idea that the EU can spend huge sums of money in an attempt to influence internal affairs in the USA, causes me to see red. The next war with Europa won’t be with guns. It’s gonna be with cash and left wing lawyers and “activists” funded by the left.
