If this old blog fades to dark I guess that’s as it should be. I’m sure Allan never thought this old blog would rise this far into the future.
If not then ,oh, what the fuck, I have met many hundreds of people online over the last decade and a half and never met but One in all that time.
Hope you can regain your “Muchness” Drew and plug along but if not, it was a great ride on the BMEWS Express.

BMEWS was the first blog I ever read. I’ve been back almost every day since before the Skipper passed. He was one of a kind and I miss him. You stepped in Drew and kept it going in style for all these years. Job well done sir. Job well done. Thanks for all your hard work, and time, and Patients. The thought of losing this part of my day is a heart breaker, but what must be must be. I hope it survives, but if not, know that you did the Skipper proud and that your efforts will always be appreciated. Thanks man.
Hey, it ain’t over yet, m’kay? I’m hoping the software doesn’t go tits up so I can get enthused again. But it gets hard. It wears on you. I want to know that somehow, somewhere, I’ve made a difference. I think the whole damn blogosphere has been tucked under a rock neatly; any media awareness that ever mentions any of the alternative paths goes straight to Facebook and Twitter. That’s it. Ok, and maybe a few others in that genre. Pinit etc. But blogs, or forums? Fuggedabowdit. They don’t exist.
I admire all the work that Skipper, Drew, Peiper, Mr. Christian and some others (man I am terrible at names) have done since I came here. It was Skipper who gave me my avatar. But as the others have said - what ever happens, happens.
And just this AM - I thought about shooting Peiper an email - and then realized - I can’t.
On Rich K’s post. It is so much more than We. Don’t. Care. I have always said, people like us work hard, play harder, are willing to pay a few taxes and then leave us the hell alone. That is what the Left can’t abide by - people willing to just live and let live.
Prime example - the gay crappola (this is NOT directed at homosexual individuals - to stoop to Leftists levels - one of the groomsmen in my first wedding was a black gay man - ex probably did not know he was gay, which is why he was there (See I can do Leftist cred stories too) - started with the overturning of a TX law on sodomy - based upon what happens in a bedroom between two consenting adults is no one else’s business and certainly not law making worthy. And look where we are NOW! Gay marriage, bakeries and photographers financially and business wise destroyed for refusing to participate (against 1st Amendment and Federal Law protected Religious RIGHTS) in gay ‘weddings’ - bet none of those activists would even set foot in a muslim bakery/photo shop. Not to mention all the gay etc social engineering going on in the military, PUBLIC schools and your local bathrooms. So much for being NO BODY ELSE’S BUSINESS
For this - the GOP is part of the problem by not only not doing anything to stop this but actually attempting to stop the one candidate who is going to try to fix it.
And not rallying behind the GOP Candidate - against a corrupt, despicable liar - who has been proven cheated to get the nomination.
I am of the Human Race (it is what I put on the Idiotic and divisive Census crap) - I do not want to be put into one of their stupid little boxes or counted as only as important if I can fill in a ‘special’ box. I have discovered from ancestry dot com DNA that I have a large number of races/ethnic groups in my ancestry - so who can I hate and why? They are what made me Me. And I understand from those who Immigrated here in my family (Legally) - why it was so very important that they did so. These new classes of Immigrants (not all, but sadly, too many) are NOT coming here to improve themselves or America. They are coming here to GRAB THAT DOUGH and destroy America. My ancestors managed quite well - while learning the language - to keep their cultures and hold onto many belongings that they brought with them (or returned home to purchase) - to include a Family Bible in German - that NO ONE in the succeeding Generations COULD READ.
And that brings me back to the start - We. Don’t. Care. Because everything out of the Left is LIES
