2. OCM: She did suffer the problem of being patently guilty. I was working a a Stock Broker when the deal went down.  Trust me, she’s guilty.

   Trouble is, the law is bullshit and my sympathies were with her. Lucky for her to have enought money to afford jury selection advice. Tough luck that there were not the usual amount of ignorant dillweeds in the jury pool.

3. Grand Jury: Did youse do da doity deed?

   Accused: No, I din’t.

   Grand Jury: You shur?

   Accused: Yup.

   (Some time later.)

   Prosecutor: We coun’t convict youse of doin’ da doity deed.

   Accused: Yup.

   Prosecutor: But youse denied dat youse done da doity deed.

   Accused: Yup.

   Prosecutor: But dat waz a lie. So, we’re gonna prosecute youse fer lyin’ to da Gran Djury about a doity deed we coun’t convict youse of doin’.

   Accused: Huh?

   This is Martha Stewart justice. Seems Scooter Libby may have gotten a similar deal.

4. OCM: You been using additives to your Daily Dose?

   As Lenny Briscoe said, “Innocent until proven broke.”

   I been on three juries & I’m here to tell you, there was big resistance to finding someone guilty. I saw a white semi-racist sweat it over condemning a black certifiable douche-bag.

5. It’s almost funny, Martha’s so damn rich she wanted to get richer by cheating, got

   caught and hired others to make the problem go away. That didn’t work so now she doesn’t

   want to pay those who tried to manipulate the system. No honor among thieves.

6. She got inside scoop that a stock was about to fall out of bed, so she dumped it. BFD. Not exactly like stomping on baby birds who’ve fallen out of their nests, is it?

   Given that it is illegal, she was dumb to do it and double-dumb to lie about it. She’s rich and famous, ergo a big fat target for Federal Prosecutors who can’t understand why it’s legal to make more money than they do.

   She didn’t steal any of her money from me, so it’s OK with me that she’s rich.  I’m not Russian, so my neighbor’s barn burning down delights me not at all.
