Bulldog, I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with you before although I have had my differences with Peiper.
That said, just what is the correlation between the gun, the daughter and Mr. Miah? In this sort of article, I’ve never had the impression the Peiper didn’t like Britain, rather I’ve generally perceived a mixture of sorrow and disgust. Sorrow that Britain has fallen to such depths and disgust that so few seem to care or even understand what has happened.

Wait until Peiper gets back here. Obama’s destruction of the U.S. is actually going quite well. The Democrats and liberals are still feeling generally triumphant while the Republicans, conservatives and Libertarians are fighting a desperate holding action. I’m amazed and thankful that the GOP has been able to block Obamacare as well as they have. A very few people are beginning to realize just what kind of evil turkey Obama is, but most say that he hasn’t had enough time and that every thing that’s gone wrong is the fault of the GOP anyway. Our next election will be very interesting, a real make or break.

The one things that surprised me was, well, I didn’t even know we had any “differences” or at least I don’t recall any. It’s an age thing I think. My memory I mean.
I can’t recall ever reading your comments and not agreeing, so I can only surmise that as is my want, I might have said something or more likely suggested something that was a tad over the top. And more then likely regretted it later.Cheers

And just to back that up BD ... I was listening to a radio program last night and heard a couple of ppl bitch because the BBC ended their programming day with your national anthem.
They said it had no place in the modern world and it wasn’t really young ppl talking. They sounded much older. One person suggested it was jingoistic. My Gosh. There are brave young Brits fighting and giving their all in a foreign war, and ppl bitch about this country’s national anthem. That bothers me a lot. It shouldn’t, not being my country. But I can’t help it. It grates.Both our countries are living under the dictatorship of political correctness, and the sooner that yoke is thrown off, the better we will all be. I loved what England was, I’m heartbroken at what it’s become.
