  1. My big, black cat, Lydia, goes outside all the time.  She comes in at night with presents for me.  Half-dead mice and rodents.  I get shrill and she bolts for under my bed.  I had to reach under my bed and fish out a carcass or two.  eeeeu!  Just disgusting.  Why do cats like to play with their prey before the denouement???

My dad said, “Oh, don’t yell at her!  She’s bringing you a gift.” eeeesh.  Return to sender.

  2. My 2 cats used to bring “presents” to the back door all the time.....Cats are natural hunters, especially at night ........My two are now too old & too fat to catch anything......but in past years they would bring mice, birds & baby rabbits to the back door...........of course, after eating parts of these “gifts” they would throw up somewhere in the house........thank God I had a strong stomach to clean up after them.... tongue laugh
