In elephant society it is the Old Bulls that keep the young ones in check.
When the Old Bull or Bulls die for whatever reason,
There is a greater chance that a Young Bull will go Rogue.
In Our Society there are no old Bulls to keep the young ones in check.
The old bulls are there, but they’re too terrified to exert their authority.
I’m not.
I’ve taken more than one little thug by the ear, or hair, and told him in no uncertain terms:
“Say, Boy - you ever watch Animal Planet? Ever see what happens when the stupid little-boy monkey decides to grab hisself a handfull of a silverback? Yeah. You ready for some of that?”
“I’m not your Mommy, I’m not your teacher, I’m not a principal, or a cop, or anything else—and I’m NOT afraid to do a night in jail for the privilege of whipping your little punk @$$. One more antisocial act and I’ll beat you like the dog you are, and if I get arrested, when they let me out I’ll come back and do it again. Only WORSE. Third time I’ll kill you. Slowly.”
I meant every word, and they KNOW IT.
You can also bet your @$$ that every little jerk who shows up at my house wanting to date my daughter also knows how to act and is STILL quaking in his boots.
Needless to say, I don’t live in once-great Britain…
