  1. Mother, yes. Girl, yes. Boy, yes. Baby? NO. Do not hold the baby responsible for the sins of their forebears.

Remember, that’s England, the giant government tit state!

  2. I’m with you Macker-leave the baby out of it.
BTW-the first girl to have a baby in my H.S. graduating class was 14! when she delivered.
She’s probably a GRANDMOTHER by now-and we’re 34!!! I didn’t even get asked out until i was almost 20(lack of opportunity-not lack of interest wink ) saved me a lot of headaches.  Barb

  3. It’s all about GENES, people!  They get passed on.  The attitudes and actions of the parents get passed to the kids.  Nip it in the bud and the likelihood of repetitious, abhorrent and immoral behavior has a tendency to decrease.

Damn!  I’d make a great dictator!  grin

  4. It’s not just in England......I have seen it time & again.......Have had 15 & 16 year old girls, usually African-American, come into my ER ready to deliver their babies......some of them have not had any pre-natal care, are children themselves of welfare mothers and who will raise these babies on welfare......the cycle is never broken......and who the hell pays for it but you & me, especially if these babies are born premie or with special needs and spend weeks in the hospital special nurseries needing high-tech care - and the young mothers are on Madicaid or don’t have any medical insurance at all........The one person who usually ends up supporting these teenage mothers & their babies are the matriarchs of the black families (usually on welfare herself)- mothers taking care of young mothers & their babies- the fathers are normally never there to provide any kind of support......it pisses me off, but I have to be professional in my nursing duties & provide the care to these kids just as I would to the millionaire’s wife who comes in to deliver her baby..........Go figure.........
