Agreed Skipper we need to get medieval on Iran. Sadly our troops (the British) have been let down by a bunch of namby pamby socialists who would rather give jobs to “Lesbian/Gay outreach counsellors” than spend it on military hardware. The Americans refer to the British as “the Flintstones” because their equipment is so dated and they are forever having to scrounge stuff from the yanks. In Afghanistan they have been issued with cheap as chips 50 cal bullets from either Pakistan or the Czech Republic with a ridiculously high failure rate. How are you supposed to pummel some crazy mullah if the gun has to keep being recocked? It makes my blood boil. The politicians send the troops to war zones with second rate kit. They should be up on treason charges. Or flogged naked through the streets!

Skipper I will join you on that button pushing - just listened to the Brits press conference - I know why America is dumbing down - the reporters feeding us ‘news’ are utter morons, but I digress.
It came out that these evil, vile stone age neanderthals separated the Sailors & Marines from Leading Seaman Turney and then told her that they had set the men free! Talk about duress and torture. I can’t imagine being a young female servicemember in a country that is known for killing women for ‘offenses’ and then being told she was kept alone - I’d have been scared sh**less. Don’t know if I could have mustered the guts to tell them to go f- themselves.
I can talk a big line back here safe and sound in my little 3 bedroom ranch - don’t know if I could do it facing the ‘dragon’ so to speak. However, she is in the military - so she should have/has more backbone than most nowdays and I think that part of the entire World’s problem with Islam - is that not enough people have the guts to stand up and say No, Enough, Lan astaslem - I will not submit.
I am afraid, if we keep letting the moronic Pelosi’s of the US make asses of themselves (and indirectly America) and keep letting the radical islamic terrorists get away with stuff like this - we will all have to learn that phrase and put our own personal backbones, guts and integrity to the test. And that is a frightening thought.

He makes a convincing argument that Iran is deliberately provoking the west to bomb them so that they can get back in the Arab leagues good graces. They are simply months away from bankruptcy because they have allowed their oil fields to deteriorate to the point that they are losing money. All we have to do is leave them alone and they will collapse all by themselves. Ignoring them is probably the best insult we can give them.
