  2. OCM,

Thanks for the NatGeo link. I’ll peruse it over the weekend. I must admit that I prefer reading biographies over watching them. But a ‘different’ perspective? How different? Who’s perspective? A biography should be about facts, not ‘different perspectives’. He/She did this-and-this on such-and-such date.

You capitalized ‘MAC’. Why? Is this a subtle way of announcing that you upgraded to an actual computer? If so, why did you turn it off? The sleep setting is much more convenient. Saves going through the whole start-up process.

    Rich K,

George Washington and most of the Founders would agree that ‘Providence doth guide us’. I can’t remember who wrote that. But I’m fairly certain it was one of the Adamses (Samuel or John) or James Madison. Certainly His Excellency, George Washington, echoed that sentiment in numerous personal letters.

His Excellency: George Washington is a book I highly recommend. It covers the eight years of our first President. It describes how and why he was unanimously chosen by the Electoral College twice. It goes into detail, through letters, of how Washington struggled with being the First President. He well knew that he was setting precedents. He wanted to set good ones.

I personally think it is a ‘must-read’ in these dark days of Obamunism.
