4. Stan: OCM hasn’t been so excited by a concept since Hank Jr.’s, “If The South Would’ve Won”

   At the Indianapolis American Legion, they’ve taken to playing Hank’s song in place of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” !

   And you can’t walk any distance thru an Ivy League College without seeing an IT’S R LEE FOR ME! Sticker.

5. The first time I saw this film at a local cinema the audience was stunned into silence. You could have heard a pin drop. I don’t think they had ever heard such a torrent of abuse. Ermey was excellent. Reminded me of my old boss in Iowa, a former Major in the 82nd Airborne. He was a pretty scary character too! I believe FMJ was filmed in England at a disused gas works. Though the clip was shot at an army barracks in Britain (Bassingbourne) you can tell from the road markings that it wasn’t a US base.
