This is the sort of thing that makes me a conspiracy believer.
The British government has taken steps to insure no person can adequately defend themself. No guns, no knives, no chemical spray, no cudgels, no harsh words. Pretty much anything a reasonable man - or woman - would consider ‘self defense’ is essentially prohibited by law.
The British government has taken steps to avoid arresting or inconveniencing the predatory criminals who work in the U. K.
One must wonder if the ‘real power’ behind the British government is in fact a villain from the ‘Doctor Who’ series. Sadly, the U. K. lacks a Doctor or even a Brigadier.
