Taxed Twice, Sued Forever

  1. We tried to sign our kids up for a special public school program. But there was a problem—it had to be racially balanced. Another problem—not enough black parents had signed up. So, we had to wait until a black kid was enrolled.  Get it? We could not get in the program until they shlepped up an black student for their quota system.

    Why didn’t the parents in the above story do what my friend did? Rent an unused apartment in the school district.
