  1. OTOH, if you were pushing pills to guys who were unhappy that their old trouser trout was down for the count, would you want ANY association at all with The Grateful Dead? Because them what buy Viagra aren’t grateful it’s dead AT ALL.

  2. Wasn’t Smokestack Lightning penned by the late great Chester Arthur “Howlin’ Wolf” Burnett?

  3. Most likely it was. Not that the tune was lyrically challenging; it has very few words and they don’t make a helluva lotta sense. But it’s a good tune. The Dead did plenty of covers over the years, though they had their own particular sound. I saw the ad again last night, and I’m certain that it’s them playing.

  4. Here all I thought when I saw that ad was - some stupid sob still stuck in the 60s/70s - I can’t wait for the hippies to die out.

The only good about these pos ads is that maybe, just maybe people will want America to build real cars again - but hey any guys willing to be so emo as to lay in tub out in the middle of nowhere to hock ed meds - (not to mention needing ed meds in the first place nor willing to get paid to hock ‘em) - don’t have what it takes to demand that at all.

  5. I’m just wondering, in what fantasy land, can a liter of bottled water fix an overheating car.. especially when Viagra Boy drank a healthy swig from it…
I’m just getting annoyed at the idiocy that Madison Avenue puts us through on a daily basis..

    Just a thought…

  6. I spent my adult life immersed in motorhead lore and Jerry Garcia wasnt anywhere present in any of it.Purely a stoner vibe there.
Well, at least in this neck of the woods, dont know about that area round jersey and such.
