  1. Ha, you beat me to it. That’s cool.

Yes, the story is running here, but it is not headlined. Isn’t that odd? You’d think the media would been orgasmic over this, sodding vultures that they are. I noticed it this morning/late last night on Fox and CNN, but I guess it got buried because in the end our guys won.

We are involved in a war over there. We are not going to win every battle nor is the enemy going to just sit around waiting for us to come kill them. This is sad news, but not unexpected news.

Things in Afghanland are heating up in the last couple months. As I posted last week, now that AQ is getting pushed out of Iraq they are getting more direct aid from Iran. Now it also looks like the rent-a-jihadis, the foreign fighters, are going there instead of to Iraq. Good, they’ve come full circle.

Ok Boosh, this time do the right thing right now. You need another 80,000 troops over there and you need to lay down the law with God’s own hammer. Do it. Take 10,000 out of Iraq. Take the 40,000 troops sitting around Germany. Get some more from stateside. Rout out these insurgents and their sympathizers and kill them all ... for instance, in this case the Tallies tipped off the closest villages, who did not warn the base of the impending attack. Fine. Burn those villages to the ground and leave the people to starve. “You are either with us, or with the terrorists” and these people have made their choice. No make them pay for it. It’s Afghanistan fer crying out loud. One of the most God forsaken corners of the world, and one that utterly nobody cares about. Wipe the slate clean. No one will notice. It simply isn’t news.

  2. Drew I was thinking the same thing this morning when I read the story. My initial thought was we need to get medieval on their collective asses. Then decided actually we should adopt the Roman approach and lay waste to the terrorist supporters homes. If you are in a fight you need to be in it to win. I agree a lot of support is from Iran, but also “our friends” the Pakistanis are giving these bastards plenty of support too. It aggravates me the way they state the number of US/UK casualties but leave out the scores of Taliwhackers who have bought the farm.

  3. I was going to say something, but I’m so angry with our homegrown enemy troops that I’d better not. WTF is wrong with them? Can anybody explain this to me? I will not say what I want to say.
