Taliban executes 14-year-old girl for planning to elope.  Oh those Tali-Killers .. always on the job

 

1. Give them an inch and they’ll take a child?

   Primitive bastards. The Taliban has lots of support in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Lots. Regardless of what any government wants you to believe. If the Tali way of life was true anathema to the average ‘stan, they wouldn’t have a square meter to call their own. The people would jeer them for the 8th century fools that they are. Or worse: it seems to me that the folks over there are armed to the teeth and always have been. Instead the Talis now “control” a large portion of Pakistan, and have never been pushed completely out of Afghanistan in spite of years worth of successful military campaigns. And that tells me just about everything: the people WANT the Taliban, or else they are so damn lazy and spineless they are unwilling to do anything about it. Which means the US is wasting its time and effort. Burn the place to the ground and go home.

3. Its a sad day on this planet when evil goes unchecked.  At some point these sad excuses for human beings will meet their end.  The sooner the better.
