Taking The Measure Of Life During Lockdown

  1. Sad that the afternoon of me going to my appointments even with hubby not allowed to go in and then driving to get dinner together was a highlight of the past two plus months. We too (due to me and son) have been mostly self-contained since March 13th. The good news is that my ccp covid 19 test was negative. Youngest daughter’s birthday was yesterday (along with second oldest grandson) and oldest son’s birthday is today. Hubby’s is Monday. Used to be sick of cake by that day, out of money long before it and partied out for the year. Glad that everyone has gone their own ways and we don’t get together very often.

We are still working to get the house back after all the re-construction work. Daughter is being diligent and going through to get rid of stuff. Before stuffing it all back in her room.

Refrig (actually the ‘fixed’ icemaker) crapped out again. Food is in coolers as we melt down the ice build up (again) and stop attempting to make ice. The crap appliances aren’t worth the money anymore. Must mow again too. Yuck.
